Shrine (open)

Nao smiles as she sweeps the porch on the shrine. she looks up at the sky and giggles "its so nice out to day.."

Kokonoe sighed as she looked around the shine. She didn't like to inject herself with the vaccine, but she had to do it every two weeks, and right now she didn't have time to go to her hotel room. Kokonoe took out a syringe from her coat full of a colorless liquid. Kokonoe looked around one more time before sitting down and rolling up her pant's leg a little. Kokonoe injected herself with the syringe. Though the vaccine made her feel like her blood was on fire it was the only thing that kept the disease she had at bay.

"Damn it!" She said as she dropped the syringe, now empty.

nao blinks and looks around "grandma is that you?" she begins to walk to over to the noise.

Kokonoe heard the girl and stood up. She couldn't walk very well because her blood still felt on fire. She left the syringe behind as she walked away from the shrine. The syringe had 'Kokonoe' labeled on it. Kokonoe eventually collapsed in the woods that she had been walking in.

"Damn... I can't even walk now..."

nao looks at the syringe "k..k..ko..kokonoe?" she looks around "hello?"

Kokonoe tried to stand but to no avail. As much as she didn't want to admit it, she needed help. "Hello? Who's out there? I need help..."

nao blinks and runs to the sound of the voice. "are you alright?!" she kneels beside her.

"I can't walk.." Kokonoe said looking at the person.

nao blinks "i'll take you to grandma.." she picks her up and brings her to the shrine. "my names nao by the way.."

"I'm Kokonoe. I'm one of the last Beastkin.." Kokonoe said holding onto Nao.

nao smiles and sets her down "its nice to met you kokonoe.." she runs to the back and gets her grandma.
her grandma looks at her "whats wrong child?"

"I can't walk, It's just a side effect of my vaccine, it'll pass in a short time though." Kokonoe said looking at the elderly woman.

nao smiles "am glad your ok..." the grandma nods and smiles "you may stay here until you feel better.." she turns and walks back into the back.

"Thank you." Kokonoe said smiling.

nao smiles and kneels down by kokonoe.

Kokonoe relaxed. But by the time she could walk again she had fallen asleep.

nao smiles and makes some tea so when kokonoe wakes up.

Kokonoe woke up in the middle of the night. she sat up and stretched.

nao had fallen asleep next to the now cold tea.

Kokonoe smiled and kissed Nao on the cheek. "So cute.."

nao stretches and blinks. she rubs her eyes and looks at her "oh your...your awake.. am sorry i fell asleep i meant to stay awake to keep your tea warm.." she blushes lightly and looks at the floor.

"It's fine. Truth be told. I think your really cute when your asleep." Kokonoe said smiling.

naos car ears twitch "uuhh thank...thank you.." she blushes and looks away. "i'll heat up the tea.." she stands up.

"Sure, thanks" Kokonoe said smiling giving a wink to Nao.

nao blushes lightly and nods. she heats up the tea and brings it back. she sets it down and smiles at kokonoe.
